I had a disappointing experience during my stay. The owner was extremely rude and refused to honor the price I booked with Expedia. I had to find alternative accommodations last minute, which was incredibly frustrating.

Consider asking for extra fresh towels at the front desk, as the initial ones provided might not meet expectations.

Walking into the room, the odors were overpowering, and the towels looked less than appealing with black stains. On top of that, the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool. Still, the lady at the front desk was very pleasant and eager to assist.

Upon entering, a strong urine smell hit us, and while A/C struggled, the pleasant front desk staff was a bright spot during our stay.

Just settled in after a two-night stay at Rock City Motel. The room I booked, a Double Room, felt clean, and I appreciated the larger fridge—much bigger than what most motels offer. The in-room coffee maker was a nice touch, especially for those early mornings. But, walking into the bathroom, the strong urine smell was hard to overlook. Every time we returned, the air conditioning struggled to cool down the space. They did replenish our towels, but seeing black stains on them was disappointing. The parking area definitely needs some sprucing up, too. removing the broken ice cream truck and adding some outdoor furniture could improve the look. The staff member at the front desk greeted me with pleasantness and was eager to assist, even though the overall condition of the room was not up to par. All in all, there were decent aspects, but I believe they have some areas to address for a more enjoyable experience.

Just wrapped up a 2-night stay! The room was spotless and they definitely took pride in keeping it clean! I mean, bigger fridge than most motels, and I loved the in-room coffee maker for those early mornings!
